This whole bit definitely read like they all know he's going to Colorado. With that said, there was a follow up clip that someone posted where they were talking about the job offers he'd gotten, Rob Jay mentions Colorado, Cincinnati, and Deion made sure to include South Florida.

I think he's off to Colorado, but at this point, who %$&$% knows

I think Grothe is just reacting to another report about a 90%+ done deal but for a different school. Probably thinks everyone posting fake news is just ridiculous at this point. If the number of people who "know" who the coach is has extended to Matt Grothe, too many people know and it would have leaked.
