Should it come to fruition, I hope you're right.  I hope that in his time here, he returns as much in kind.  We definitely need it.  I'm just not sure that's the right longshot.  I am comfortable in the minority.  I back whomever we bring in.

I should add that I don't have confirmation that the deal was signed. Just that there appears to be agreement on most of the major points.
