Honesty, it’s ******** how NIL is set up. The schools are keeping their profits, and forcing the NIL out on to other people/companies/collectives. It should have been a profit sharing system from the school.

Exactly. It was sold to the people as the ncaa and universities is going to split their revenue with the players and athletes. In reality it is the fans and companies paying the players. The only reason I think the ncaa set it up this way because there is no fair way to pay all athletes equal. Football brings in the most money,  basketball second by a lot though, and all other sports are not even in the same category in making money as football. How would the ncaa equally pay all men and women  athletes? They won't,  the fans and Companies will.

yup, if the school was to pay players directly they would become employees and that would open up a huge can of worms with title 9 and what not

I think Bama has 13, UF 15, FSU 8, UM 12, UCF 7, USF 8....It's the wild west out there....Hopefully we can pull in some homesick talent that wants to play here.

It looks like a lot of the big schools have people shuffling in and out.  Maybe to grab a little NIL or some playing time.

Former USF TE Jackson Long received an offer from Georgia Tech yesterday. On3.com has him 100% heading there, so he may have already accepted. If so he looks like the first out of our kids in the portal to commit somewhere. I don't believe Jimmy Horn has officially committed anywhere yet.

Weaver is in the wind, 6 catches for Jackson his freshman year,  I caught more ass my freshman year with an 84 Lebaron and a mullet so understood why he dipped out.
