Definitely not ideal, but you can't call out the coach but not call out Byrum for fumbling a sure td or Willis dropping a catch that was intercepted or the regular lack of defense.  Plenty of other mistakes made during the game that could have been game-changing if you want to focus on one thing.  If JRP hadn't gotten hurt, we probably would have lost by 3 td's.  After watching this team all season, I went to this game hoping to see something competitive.  It was more than just competitive and we had a chance to win it so I'm happy.

We had a chance but lost. We are what the record says , we lost a lot. WE looked better but not good enough to get the dub. Time to find a coach that  can get the players to close out games and earn the win.  There is no rewards for losing in sports.

Thank goodness that we start fresh next season

We needed to stay aggressive on offense even until the end as our new identity moving forward. We came back by going aggressive and lost the game by going conservative. It is like the prevent defense, it prevents you from winning.

Taggart would try to score from his own 20 with 30 seconds left in the half. One thing Taggart was not was conservative. I think we had some ridiculous number of offensive TD drives that were under a minute when Taggart was here. Now Holtz and Strong would try to sit on a 3 point lead with a quarter left to play.

Im a Taggart fan, but he use 2 always take his foot off the pedal in the 2nd half. This year he lost 4 games by a combined 9pts or something.

Daniel Da Prato has no balls.

Daniel Da Prato had a chance to go down as a legend at USF.

Daniel Da Prato clammed up and cost USF's players a chance at a win that they had fought so hard for.

Daniel Da Prato cost himself any small chance he had to be named the permanent coach.

Daniel Da Prato had a chance to go for the jugular and wimped out.

Convince me otherwise.

USF will always be USF.

he isnt head coach material yet

in his last year here, he coached 12 games.

we scored a total of 523 points

in the 4th quarters we scored 132 points

first 3 quarters average points per quarter = 130.33

4th quarters were just above average .

doesn't indicate taking his foot off the pedal

he lost a lot of close games at FSU too.

I don't want him back but I never got the feeling he was taking his foot off the pedal. Sure sometimes the offense bogged down

We need a better closer period.
