Pffft what a trash take.  Coaching was not great but de Prato didn’t cost us the game.  We didn’t come with sniffing distance of these wins any other time in the past three years, but with almost our entire starting lineup out we almost beat a ranked opponent at home and it’s the coaching staff’s fault?  **** off with that.  They did the best they could and put us in a position to win.  Absolutely could have made some better calls but putting it at their feet is just disrespectful.  Take the L and blame the right person—xCJS.

give your players a chance on the last possession.  he gone

Idk what you mean but we had three players in the end zone who could have caught that Hail Mary.

I was on the goal line in the Bounce Hell Hole when that pass was deflected and I know **** well how close we were.  But at no point were we down by 28 and had to pull ourselves out of a hole like tonight, coaches made a difference tonight in that.  And a true freshman QB in his 2nd game.  It’s not comparable, coaching staff was in their 3rd game!

the coaches helped put us in that hole. Fact is when the game was on the line they coached scared. same as Scott did last year

Did they coach like it was their third game, coaching?  Oh jeez it sounds like…the consequences of our own decisions and circumstances coming to a logical decision and us being crazy lucky to even be within sniffing distance of a win

Soft like CJS. 3 runs up the middle lost us the game. I don't want to see him in LRS again.

I believe we almost beat UCF last year and we almost beat UF this year. It was coaching too conservative in the end that cost us both. It also cost us tonight.

Fear.  A culture of fear and inadequacy cost us the UF game.  Can't blame the bad snap and the botched hold in the UF game on the coaching.  That was just inherent fear of success.  Someone used the word turtle tonight in another thread,  It's that 100%.  we are turtles.

I don't care if it was his first game. You need the killer instinct to go for the kill shot at the end. He did not.

Good for him that he had us close. He can tell his grandchildren one day

Ok I think you mean the post-fumble play calling.  Fair point, it was conservative.  A more experienced QB would have pulled the option and converted on one of those, it was wide open.

He has no business being a head coach and if we had him for 3 years he still been an upgrade over what we had before.
