I think VPMK is good at fundraising, but isn’t doing much to improve football and basketball. Giving all the coaches contract extensions was just dumb. He should seek advice on hiring/firing from outside sources before doing it. There are a lot of very successful sports organizations in this town…I’m sure he could get advice from some of them.

I saw the writing on the walls last year and nothing CJS has changed my opinion. WE are not getting better. I hope you enjoyed the tickets today. It is painful to go these days.

It is now past the point of no return.  1 FBS opponent in 3 years is a signal to recruits, current players, current assistants and potential assistants that this rebuild is a flop.  Nobody wants to be associated with this boat anchor of a program…especially the fans.

I get it is a Greg Schiano type move but I guarantee you Leavitt would get 7 wins in his first year.  Keep this Scott legacy dud and what to you get next year?  1 win?

USF will have to pay out the ass for any warm body to come here, let alone a half way decent coach.  You can say "think better" all you want but we all know this is USF we are talking about.  Michael Kelly might hire himself as head coach and give himself a lifetime contract.

I actually liked Jim the few times we met at events. Always friendly and always brought the passion.
