Sad but true. Most of them transfers seem to get hurt often.

Transferring for a few different reasons.

According to Scott it’s a grow-in injury

Enjoy...

“Obviously something is not connecting, especially in the first half,” USF coach Jeff Scott said. “It’s going to take everybody, coaches and players to go back and figure it out. … We did win the second half (outscoring ECU 21-7), and it does show that we’re continuing to fight, but we’re not coming out here to win the second halves of games. We’re coming out here to win games.”  Scott made it a point to say Hurricane Ian didn’t figure into the poor play, though the distractions were plentiful.

Well, on the bright side, he recognizes that winning the second half is basically meaningless if you get trounced in the first - this is kind of like when Charlie repeatedly stated in 2019 that the team was unprepared

It is nice to recognize and own a problem, but ultimately, the head coach is accountable to fix said problem and if he can’t . . .

If he actually believed it was meaningless he wouldn’t have said it, for him to mention it means he actually thinks there is some value in it

Is it just me or anyone else actually hear the voice of Jason Sedakis when reading a puc86 response???  Actually makes me smile a bit no matter what the content.

Yeah they lose by the first half all the time and get scrappy garbage time TDs in the 2nd.  It had nothing to do with the hurricane.

Exactly just another excuse to use mental gymnastic to get some moral victory. This guy is  failing USF , the players, and the fan. Maybe he hires a DJ today to celebrate his second half performance.

As the man once said, the harder you work, the luckier you get.

I mean Jeff Scott walks away from the team during time outs. I am not sure how hard he is actually working.
