You asked what it would cost without the USF Foundation... b/c that is not public and no one oustside of Jeff, hist agent/lawyer, and USF will know that number.

My post had that. $192k.

No.

$192k plus some unknown and potentially large amount from the USF Foundation... that likely puts it near $2 million.

Skip Holtz, for example, was paid $500k per year for three years after he was fired.  So was Stan Heath.

i'd like to think that scott turns it around in a few games and this wait is worth it. even dabo struggled at clemson for a little bit, sure.

but, come ON. 3 seasons of this **** and we can barely pull together a convincing win against an FCS opponent.

3 seasons should be enough to play a football game where the first play is not a disaster & the offense can stay on the field

buy out the contract and move on.

I'll take it for sure if that happens, but I am not sure they know how to install a game plan and have the people know what to do or how to do it.

Maybe?

This isnt the game where you hire a manager as a coach and hope it works out.

We need a playcaller and recuriter.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
