Not happy with the results and not giving this team or coaching staff a pass.   The first half was putrid.   It was almost as if the reversal of that fumble recovery for a TD broke their confidence.  That is all on coaching.

They were on fire in the second half.   Maybe they put nicotine in the Gatorade instead of CBD, so the team was alert instead of the sleepwalking they did in the first half.

Not according to the box score or the official statistics.   If you want to argue, please leave the strawman at home.   He is too busy keeping the crows away from the crops.

Keep praising 1-19 FBS Jeff it seems to be working out well.

this turd cant be polished.

making a couple plays after being down 30+ points is not “showing life,” it’s just the other team taking its foot off the gas & subbing in 2nd teamers to avoid injury.

there was no life there, it was just BYU easing off…

& they STILL added 20 more points while we were “showing signs of life” 🫤

This is a strawman argument praising a team for scoring against a team that was so far ahead when the game is already over. That is like praising a team that loses every game but loses by less points. You got to score when it matters or it doesn't mean squat. If you are down 35-0 and you score to make it 35-7? What difference does it make ? We were getting blown out and we scored when it did not make one difference in the outcome of the game.

Scott does well in garbage time. Garbage time typically is late 2nd half in blowout loss ..Scott has managed to move it into the second quarter.

Hopefully that first half was a wake up call for the team. That halftime locker room must of been interesting. A good up & coming coach can capitalize on those moments when things went south from the start. I’m interested in seeing if USF can start climbing up from the bottom. Go Bulls!

I will say I was sick to my stomach until the end of the first half. Team could have mailed it in come the 2nd half. They didn't and they fought which was somewhat encouraging.

I will be interested to see how we do after the Louisville game. Still think we need to be 5-7 or better to consider giving Scott another year. Id almost say a bowl is needed but do acknowledge the incredibly tough OOC schedule.

The D was god awful, but I did see some positives on O. Hopefully the D is better come Conference play.
