Based on my 50 years of experience, I think it is USF that is the problem.

Still, the CJS era has not been good by any measuring stick.

This is what happens when you create a culture that extends every coach regardless of their outcome on the field. CJS is comfortable and he has four more years. Do you think he still has the locker room ?

EXACTLY, but we're probably the only two to think that.

I'm just saying there has been an awful lot of suckage in USF athletics for the past half century, regardless of who has been at the helm as the AD and a litany of coaches.

At this point calling him an offensive coach is a huge stretch.  In my opinion, he is just coach that is in way deeper than he can handle. I think the jump from co-oc not calling plays to head coach was to big for him. He never controlled and ran one side of the ball and now he is in charge of the whole program.

Michael Kelly needs to be re-evaluated as well.

There is nothing to reevaluate if anyone evaluated him for the first time it’s pretty clear that basketball and football have been on a constant downward spiral since he stepped foot on campus and rather than do anything to course correct he doubled down across the board

Said the same thing pregame. If we win the toss go on offense. Give Gerry a chance and start wearing down their d. Another head coaching snafu.
