At the same time they've only allowed two goals and both of those on penalty kicks.

Nice you’re able to look at the bright side. Good for you.

Well, USF Soccer used to be one of our strongest programs and has started the season 0-3-1 with -0- goals.

Coach Butehorn has run this program into the ground but like Coach Scott, received an extension.

Can't any of our sports programs be successful? What a disaster!

Is the goal really to score though?

It applies to being single and USF soccer.  The goal is always to score.

But one must not over pursue in the scoring game.  One must acquire skills and then the scoring will come.

Maybe we need to get Coach Butehorn as DC on CJS’ staff😁

That must be our problem. The team scored 10 goals in an exhibition. Overdid it and now we're paying the price.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
