How does 1A translate?

My son played 2A (in Arizona) and it is a completely different level than 5A or 6A.

But, I'm not football guy.

Decent early offers - all 3 military academies, UAB, FAU and Middle Tennessee. Those schools always seem to be the first to offer - especially MT. They must put out a ton of early offers.

1A means you have between 100-600 students in your school. Basically, there are a few schools that are small and private and kick ass, the other are fodder. My college roommate was from Port St. Joe, or The Joe as he called it... it's a tiny town on the panhandle. One time I was there to hang at the beach and I went to lunch, the table next to me was the entire the police force, it was two guys. It was also called Linda's and Linda was the only employee. The one light in town starts blinking yellow at 8pm. Pretty sure its a paper mill town. Pretty much, 1/3 of the boys at the school are on the football team and when the band comes on the field, there are no other students in the stands because between the team and the band, you're out of kids.
