So far another pitching abomination.  Four runs allowed in first inning. Team scores 7 to go up 7-4 only to fall behind 8-7 in fifth inning.

This is the worst pitching I have seen from USF in a long time, saved only by good hitting and soft schedule

Im just calling it as I see it. If our pitching doesn’t improve we won’t go far.

GOT to get this pitching ironed out before conference play starts in two weeks. We NEED to see three good starts this weekend - especially from Brad Lord. I'm not sure who we can trust out of the bullpen at this point beyond Hunter Mink. We need to see more Austin Grause - unless he's injured. He's thrown 4.2 scoreless innings, allowed just four hits and hasn't walked a batter, but hasn't pitched since March 2. That sounds like maybe an arm issue - or something else.
