Willie has a losing record overall in his career, (66-73) but **** that guy is good at getting big money from Oregon and Fsu.

He was also good at leaving teams better off than when he got there in 3 of his 4 previous stops.

Did he actually say that about Oregon, too?

Hard to imagine you guys saying this was a good read. Quick perusal and the guy talked about our defensive scheme and I missed him mentioning  firing the DC. Maybe it was there and I missed it.

It was a hack puff piece, when he lined up the replacement for Grier (if he went pro) I stopped reading.  He must either be related or owe the Scott’s a ton of money.

Not to my recollection, however 3 plus mil a year can make every job your dream job.

It would certainly put it near the top of my list but I would never be so unrefined as to publicly call anything a dream job based on money …. It’d be my double secret dream job.

For $3 million a year you will call it what they tell you to call it until someone else gives you enough money to call it something else

USF-Continues-Downward-Skid-in-42-13-Los

As the conference realignment begins to settle, USF and Jeff Scott are looking to rise atop the AAC as a group-of-five powerhouse once more.

Looks like this site scouts players as NFL prospects and likes what USF is doing. Pinder, Bags, Thornton, and Shular are better NFL prospects than anyone currently on the roster according to this.

i need to see it to believe it

mcclain looked horrible towards the end of the year

First we have to win another FBS game. Then we have to win some games on the road. Then maybe, just maybe, we can talk about being a force in the AAC. All of these transfers look great, but Jeff Scott has not shown one single solitary glimpse in 21 games that he is a competent football coach. We have a looonnggg way to go.

agreed

talk is cheap

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
