When your dream job of going 7-5 for the Oregon Ducks for 1 year comes calling, versus delivering on your own stated goal of "winning multiple championships in a first class manner" and becoming a Tampa legend, you follow that dream job.

Taggart’s dream job was FSU. Oregon was just a career advancement that 99.9% of the coaches out there would have taken.

Not this guy. My $3M dream job doesn’t come with that rider … my $4M one would, however.

When you factor for inflation and investment opportunities $3 million then was easily $4 million now

He was also good at leaving teams better off than when he got there in 3 of his 4 previous stops.

Debateable.. fsu was was  joke. Oregon was  one year  7-5 and Cristobal really improved the team with great coaching. 2/3 wku and usf yes . He hasn't stayed at one place long enough to see if he can coach a program beyond 3-4 years or one full recruiting cycle. So as of a now he is a coach with a losing record and no proof  he build or can coach with  lasting success.

Taggart is 5-10 in his last 15 games at FAU. Next year could really be make or break for them. Perry has 1 more year of eligibility but he just graduated, if he doesn’t come back they could be in trouble

Perry isn't really good is serviceable at best.  Fau is no doubt in worse shape than when he took over. Can't blame him because kiffin is a good coach.  Either way he is gone and we got cjs 3 wins in 2 seasons which is unacceptable. His expectations for next year should be bowling or getting canned should be the expectation for next year.

**** I’m jealous of that level of success, I wish I was being sarcastic about that but it’s going to take CJS 3 years and probably close to 30 games to get to those 5 wins.

What I said is not debatable. WKU, USF and Oregon teams were all better when left than when he got there, based on wins/losses. Like you said, though, there is no proof at this point that he can build a program past one good recruiting cycle.

I wish USF was still ridding on CWT's bus.
