This was very good. I especially like the comments about building the community. This is something that really needs to be double down on by USF athletics and football specifically. At the same time, all of us as fans need to do our part as well. We all have an opportunity to be a walking billboard for the University (in what we say and wear…USF gear) and play up it’s strengths to others. I applaud some of you who get new people to games. Keep it going. Last night I was talking to a younger BC alumnus who, to my surprise, knew a great deal about USF (in a positive way). Our brand and logo are known academically and in sports. We all need to keep pressing forward.

The group I have coming to the games have no ties to USF, except the games. College Football fans wanting to have a good time.

Funny how some can see the improvement. Agree 100% with the article. Now the onus on USF athletics as a whole is to keep the momentum going into '22 and beyond.

Way too long and yeah - a lot of the same things fans say here. I appreciate steeg’s time invested, but I had to opt out early.  It’s a fan’s perspective and we all have that in our own cute ways.

Is there any other perspective that we would actually see?  It's not like we will see a coach or a player write this... everyone else is just a "fan".

Except for the responsible media which has faded away or have been antagonistic.  
 

And obviously I’m not against what fans think, we’re a fans’ message board.  Not too different a structure from tds where certain fans submit their opinions. 
 

Hopefully, our program can return to some legitimate media covering them but we have a long way to go.

 

I read plenty of fans’ opinions daily.
