Can we say the defense needs to come out STOUT?

We'll have to change "strong safety" to "stout safety."

What I don’t get is our reluctance to blitz in the 3-3. One of the 3-3’s main advantages is it flexibility. You can vary where the 4th or 5th attacker is coming from. Against ECU we switched from a 4-man line on 1st/2nd to a passive 3-3 on 3rd/4th down and got beat regularly.

I don't trust Spencer...it may be more of doing well on 1st and 2nd down then getting into 3rd and long and playing off the sticks and rushing three...I pray that he adjust...

Unfortunately this D doesn’t know how to do stout and it’s definitely not gonna change this weekend.   If you’re interested to know what’s going on with the D watch the most recent Film Room at TDS.  Seth focuses only on all the 3rd and 4th downs given up and breaks it all down.

I have the same problem everytime i see "strong" anywhere on this board haha.
