USF would have a lot of fans if we were rank 15 and playing a rank 3 team too. Don't be fooled by this crowd for Houston. It's not surprising, most AAC teams would be packed.

 

What is more important is looking at turnout when teams are down and against weak opponents. It's already been shown of the candidates USF has the highest 5 year and 10 year average for attendance.

All candidates would be sold out if rank 15 vs rank 3. It's not unique.

 

I would be impressed if they had a crowd like this vs SMU or Tulane and we're not ranked.

Except that SMU is not B12. Perception is sometimes greater than reality. You know B12 people are watching that game, and they'll walk away with a good impression of Houston's fan showing.
