pac 12 was offered $30m per school after usc and ucla were gone. the others going are getting partial shares. big 16 deal is comparable at $31.6.

my point was that the tv networks didn't break up pac 12. they did it to themselves by asking for $50m per school.

Yeah, some seriously bad negotiating went down. I get being aggressive, but the old PAC leadership was just being insane.

They went from legitimately the worst conference commissioner who's ever existed in Larry Scott to a very close second with Kliavkoff

Money can’t buy those schools the location that USF currently sits on. CAG walks right in and immediately makes an impact coaching at USF. Tells me that USF had the players all a long they just didn’t have the right coaching. I’m pretty sure power conferences won’t want USF to get invited unless they are desperate for survival just like the big 12 was by adding UCiF.  All it will take is another power conference being desperate and then we will see USF invited as long as we keep winning kind of like UCiF was doing. USF will be fine in the long run.

Probably leaves us looking for more chaos. Or an arrangement (covertly and proactively) with the ACC to replace schools readying to leave.  Longshot B12 to shore up FL or circumvent ACC. Than really, really longshot BIG or the not quite dead PAC.

Big 12 pretty much got themselves into a pickle. They over expanded.
