The Pac 2 would have an epic championship game.  I am guessing no matter what your record is you just play each other that year and get a gigantic golden trophy.

At least with the PAC2 I would be able to name all the teams in their conference.  You know, on a good day.😁

Well, on the plus side, the Pac II will really save a bit of money on the wrestling tournament: only have to mint gold and silver medals, and no third-place finisher on the podium. As a bonus for the fans, you can actually take in every match of the tournament and still go out for dinner!

2pac-Changes is the official theme song of the pac2.

Yup... but the PAC 2 still gets a CFP bid, so you never know.

Potentially, for 2 years at least but maybe not more than that. The current CFP contract only runs through the 25 football season so it's very likely the next contract goes either 5 + 7 with the PAC having to fight with the AAC and SBC, or a straight up selection of the 12 highest ranked teams regardless of conference champs.

Correct... but I can say if's going to be a fight if the B1G and SEC keep pushing "Top 12" - the G5 (G6?) won't go for that... we may end up without a CFP depending on how strongly they stick to their guns... but that's a lot of money to leave on the table.  I suspect it will be 5+7.

Agreed. I think 5 + 7 is the safest bet to avoid an antitrust lawsuit.
