I thought Colorado was already in B12.  Hah.

I can't keep the PAC/B12 straight either.

Just questioning if there is a TON of talent on a team that one 1 game?

Plenty of roster turnover with Coach Golesh.

I believe we have over 40 new players.

I'm very anxious to see the new team play. Lots of change, hopefully for the better!

Offensive talent was there. We'll see how it goes with the new bodies now that Weaver/Horn/Battie transferred out. It's hard to win many games when the defense is as bad as we were in 2022.

SP+ offense ranking was 43 I believe

Defense was dead last

The turnover on offense is absolutely concerning. The defense is a question mark still.

That is we are talking about the defense. The offense seems to be the bright spot under Scott

True.  Still think that having a strong defense wins more games even if the offense is not as talented as last year.  But it would be a nice blessing to have an improvement on both sides of the ball or at least maintain status quo on the offense and come out with a better defense than last year.

I more interested to see how the defensive coaching and offensive coaching will play out. We have a lot of transfers who did not perform in power5 football but hopefully find their game under Golesh and Todd Orlando. If they were recruited to power 5 football that have talent but may need a new change to shine. Most transfers do not work out so I am not going to put all my eggs in that basket. It will all come down to coaching, player development under the new staff, and game management. It would not be hard to do better than the last staff, but we need to see it in the win column not in words by the coaching staff. Golesh seems more knowledgeable and a harder worker than Jeff Scott. I really hope he is our coach to turn this dumpster fire around.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
