I would like SDSU because it would be easy to see a game.  But I can’t think “Brad first”. No. It’s USF & UCF first!

It they could pull SDSU off it would be nice. Taking Boise with them puts the MWC out of business for NYD game.

Thank G-d we decided to get rid of CJL who was holding us back from our inevitable coupling, I do not where we would be today if we did not finally agree to be a package deal with UCF and really lock down the I-4 corridor

The drive to Vegas can’t be that much longer than SD. My new seats are already behind the away bench so I’m ready for the UNLV addition to the AAC.

They can be placed in divisions and it could work. Uconn leaving had nothing to do with travel.

I agree with this in general for the future.  For now, do you think Newsome would allow San Diego St. to play at all at home (with or sans fans) or would they have to play all of the games on the road?

I tend to agree one season would not be beneficial.  Even so,  I have considered the other side.  If you make these teams feel at home (without kissing their butts) and welcome in the conference and things go well, it might be worth a shot to get them to see the benefits of a merger or partial merger.

If it was Boise, BYU, and Air Force, I would do it. Boise and BYU's deals are already close to the AAC contract and Air Force would likely value up as every school would be able to get a military appreciation game every other year. They haven't been willing to join, but if it means being left out in the cold...I think BYU and Boise would do it. Boise's problem is that they pretty much dominate the MWC most years-so they would probably lose some profile if they moved to the AAC. If the AAC is the only path to a NY6 every year they will join.
