Right. The Big 10 definitely values Minnesota over Nebraska.

It is one of those senority things. Happens all the time.

It would be like moving out of the Playboy mansion to live with your grandma and her weird lesbian friend.

Almost made me spit out a mouthful of bourbon.  That would have made me sad.

Pretty much the same as you. B12 looks to me like a doomed conference no matter what but they will give us bushels of cash as long as it lasts and I'd rather have bushels of cash when a conference implodes than not. B12 feels to me like a doomed couple about to have children in an attempt to save the marriage.

No expansion, that's ok, keep winning where we are and look good for next opportunity.

This!

Because the AAC will implode before the Big 12.

Trust me, the Big 12 will poach half of the AAC before it goes down.

Highly doubt the AAC goes down before B12. There's more pressure on P5 than G5 to remain viable, whereas AAC can roll along at less $$ perfectly happy to welcome in the WKUs, LATechs, and SDSUs when their numbers need filling. It's like the AAA of CFB, keep cycling in the best available until they're "called up".

Eventually could get to the point, in theory, where no AAC members were also Big East members. That is, USF, UConn, Cincy, etc could leave for other conferences.

I'd be okay with that

Big 12 will secure another great contract...

They aren't going anywhere...

Umm... Expansion was called off until after the presidents meet when it will be back on, at which point they will officially announce that they are lukewarm on the idea. Which will immediately be followed by comments that expansion is definitely, maybe, hopefully will, but still may not, but just may happen at an undetermined time between now and the end of the GOR.
