If USF wants to help in boosting attendance they should consider a 300-level season ticket for $99.

The FSU tickets alone are $85 and up.

Go Bulls!

72 pages to go.

Big-12 commissioner emails Houston.  Once again, this reporter did not include our name on the list.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2016/08/18/big-12-commissioner-emails-houston-about-expansion-procedure/88970266/

"Mr. Sweeney will follow up with your GC to provide instructions and to coordinate future steps," Bowlsby writes. "Thanks for your interest in the Big 12 Conference."

That there has been communication between the Big 12 and Houston is not surprising. The school is a member of the American Athletic Conference, but has made it clear it aspires to be in a Power Five conference. Since the Big 12 revealed that it is looking into expansion, the University of Texas and Texas Tech have public supported considering Houston. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott went even further, saying Big 12 expansion "must" include Houston.

Among the other schools that have been maneuvering to be considered by the Big 12 are BYU, Cincinnati, Central Florida, Memphis, Connecticut, East Carolina, Boise State and Colorado State.

This is wrong though because we have been maneuvering to be considered.

Student tickets are free and they don't fill that up.

Then make it $49 or a few dollars over the price to make those seats available. Do whatever it takes to get people in the door without losing money.

I would be willing to bet that if the game against Towson was free to attend, the RayJay wouldn't be "sold out".   Ticket prices aren't keeping any fan away.

If that's the case then that means there isn't enough local interest to include USF in anything more than the lowest levels of FBS. If we don't have the local support then he national critics are right.

I think winning will drive the desire.  Note I said the game against Towson, not FSU

I live in Tallahassee.  FSU wouldn't draw flies playing Towson either.

More importantly, except for possibly one or two,  none of the other candidates would draw flies either.
