Here's my uneducated, uncited, purely blind conjecture: If there really are two teams already negotiating their way out of the conference, it's either the combination of Houston and Cincy or the combination of USF and UCF

If they're holding off expansion until December, there has to be more then 2 teams involved. That's just my humble opinion.

Very much not true. Before realignment ceases forever (which in itself sounds like a foolish statement), the P5 has to drop some dead weight. The never were's and never-will-be's. Purdue. Iowa State. Vandy. Kansas. Washington State. Illinois. Maybe N.C. State. Virginia. When they get the boot, that's when realignment will be winding down, if not over.
