I see this happening once the g5 teams join the Big 12. Texas and Oklahoma will join SEC soon after.

Those teams will not be associated with teams like Cincy and USF or UCF....then a few of the stronger Big 12 teams will bolt for another P5 conference and then they go P4.

This is setting up to be a renogiated TV contract with the current members that pays each team a few million per year more, and extends the TV deal to coincide with the end of the Lonhorn Network.

 The entire expansion thing may just be a play for more cash from the networks.  Then UT and OU can bolt if there isn't a better offer when the Longhorn network deal ends in 2031.
