Auggie: On the USF Program - A True Bull

Couldn't get it all in one screenshot, so here is a series of 4 images on his post. The guy is USF through and through, and I sure as **** hope he gets a shot to come back and work for this program one day. This is the passion and leadership we need. Someone who gives a ****. Not only with the football program, but within Athletics staff as well. We are lucky to have people like John Lewis and Jim Fee in the Athletic Department, but there are a ton of people who come in and could care less about USF. We're only going to get better on all fronts if we have people in who truly care for and want the best for USF. Not just a stepping stone.

Happy I could post it. Thought it would be in the best interest for many in this community to read and see the passion alumni still have for this program, and that Leavitt's passion exceeds more than just a generation of students who happened to be around. This is the mentality, culture, and mindset we need here. We haven't had an identity in years. There's so much that can be taken from a simple post like this. We need to get Auggie back in this program ASAP

Did I miss something? We're still building an IPF, right? He's talking about us raising money for it and then not building it and just doing the locker room?

Thanks for posting Augie’s comments. He was on target, well spoken and passionate.  Always been proud of him, as he is also a Northeast High graduate (Go Vikes).

I hope that he is welcomed back into the program, as he can be part of the solution.  Go Bulls

He's discussing the Football Center. We took money from the project fund and spent a few mill of it on our current lockers in the Athletics building, when it was originally planned to be in the football center. Might still be in the plans, but we'll see.

EDIT: Changed the price. Could have been inaccurate. Forgot where I read about it

Pretty sure I read that in a few places that it cost a few million. Could be inaccurate though so I won't firmly stand by it. Someone else here may have a more accurate link for the cost. Still pulled from the fund it sounds like

How many alums are currently coaching somewhere?

We need to get true Bulls back into the helms of this program. 

I only know of Larry Scott (who has unfortunately gotten off to a terrible start at Howard) and Calvin Magee.
