You are sooooo old you probably listened to the Stones. I mean real stones, really early rock music, as in Paleolithic rocks. (Come to think of it Mick and Keith Richard were probably playing back then. Anyhow, since ol' fashioned Vegas Christmas is my bride's and my thing, maybe we'll see you out there if the world reopens. For Christmas 2019 we saw a great Chris Isaak Christmas show at the Wynn before running across the street to catch Ray Romano and David Spade at the Mirage. Fun but we're pretty sure I was an early adopter of COVID as I ended up with pneumonia for two months. Literally head banging music, heh? We haven't booked flights or hotel yet but figured we'd get the tickets. Let us know if you go. If things totally break down we won't go but hoping to at this point. How was Romano in person? Will do. I love Vegas at Christmas. Cheap, cool, uncrowded and very festive. Whenever we don't have the young one for the holiday, and there is no global lockdown, we have gone. We actually enjoyed Ray Romano and David Spade both more than I expected. They did a short bit (along with Jon Manfrellotti, Gianni from Everybody Loves Raymond) and then did an informal Q&A banter with the audience. Fun and funny show. Remember my parents music and my older brother was a trumpet player so listened to big band, jazz and Sinatra kind of stuff as a kid. But then progressed to Doors and the like, Motown and funk. Strange mix. We have tix for Usher (wife's gift for putting up with me) in Vegas this Xmas. Used to have season tix for symphony in NJ. There are some Artists from the "old era" that are classics no matter what your age, just have to be in the mood for it. Singers like Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitgerald never get old.
