Mid-majors typically had depended on those non-conference match ups to boost their resumes and will likely be left out.

Although they were not great the last few years, losing Uconn basketball did hurt the perception of the conference.

I think the b-ball side of things is still strong without uconn. Cincy, Memphis, SMU and houston have been decent. Wichita State can be good. 3-4 bids seems possible.

Agree but the Uconn brand did have some positive value...albeit less so.
