I saw growth in a game I expected two lose by 2 TDs. Jimmie and Joe's aren't there yet

Scott cost USF 40 seconds by calling that time out.  You have to think ahead.  He put all his eggs in the two point basket. 

What he should have done is run any play, and even if unsuccessful, USF would have had around 45-50 seconds to try to get a FG.

I didn't.  Temple Is a bad team.  USF handed them the game.

exactly. coaches are learning too. not happy with the outcome but showing progress.
