Terrible past performances and 17 points vs ECU gets you filled in as a starter at USF. Fortin and Johnson better be complete trash in practice because I really can't get over the fact that we arent interested in seeing them get a half of a game.

One isn't a factor in the race the other is more erratic throwing the ball than McCloud....

Tim Tebow threw like crap but he was a helluva QB. So was QF. QB is a lot more than just throwing the ball around.

So I'd be interested in knowing how you KNOW that neither of these players can be competitive running the offense for a half.

And sorry if I dont buy your citation of a sloppy drive that you saw from them this season. We haven't given either of them more than a drive or two in a row which is extremely difficult for a QB. Besides, 80% of McClouds possessions are sloppy. It's not like they can be much worse.

The whole Cade Fortin thing is a mystery to me.  Before the ink was dry on Scott’s contract, he was putting on the full court press with Fortin.  He was his #1 priority recruit when he took the job and for the kid to not even come close to beating out McCloud and languishing on the depth chart is quite surprising.  Scott must have really whiffed in his assessment of the kid or something else is going on.

Maybe he is saving him for UCF?

Agree Fortin should atleast get a half. He likely will get a second half as almost all the games left will be first half blowouts by other team.

One thing I noticed is all of the time his offensive line is giving him...

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
