Lost in all of this is what appears to be a vast improvement in the defense.

Amazing improvement. I lost all confidence after the ND game.

Out of all the QB's I've seen, Marsh has the most physical talent by far.

Might as well just go with him for the year and see what happens.  I mean, we are going 1-10 or however many games we play anyways.

Defense played pretty well...great seeing a lot of freshman step up...hopefully we see some separation at the qb position in the second half

I’m not mad and didn’t expect much.  It’s just less than what I expected

Everyone knows we are terrible.  All we ask for is slight improvements.

That's all.  Improvement.  So far, nothing.  If anything, we are getting worse and worse.

Serious question.  Is this our worst team ever?

So other than name, what makes Weis such a hot young name as an OC?  I understand our personnel isn't what we would hope for, but I haven't seen anything from the playcalling that is putting the QB or even the RBs in positions for easy plays or set ups for success.

I was thinking the same thing

Why have a true freshman throwing bombs downfield - that is a recipe for disaster
