His team has had as much practice time as anyone else this summer, if he did not use this time to have some productive live scrimmages and tackling drills than not sure what the hell he was doing besides talking ********.  This guy had better not be a joke, we have never experienced a CSH and CCS back to back, the program can’t survive it.

"Boy, that game was 1000 percent my fault," Niumatalolo said. "Obviously, we weren't prepared. One team was playing football. There's nobody to blame but myself. I erred on the side of trying to keep our guys safe. I'd say it's the worst Navy football game we ever played."

"You ever see us play like that before? You hope that it doesn't turn out like that, but there was a lot of concern," Niumatalolo said. "The last time we tackled anybody was the bowl game, nine months ago. I made a decision on the safety side of it, and we were weren't prepared."

I sure hope they were doing tackling drills and live scrimmages with tackling.  With all the testing these players undergo, I don’t see what not tackling accomplishes.

Didn't they play a scrimmage at Ray Jay?

Yes they did, but that would certainly not be enough prior to a opener with no spring ball.  (Well they did have one practice in the spring, hope it was a doozy).

I saw them doing Oklahoma drills in a hype video so... there’s hope. I think CJS has a chip on his shoulder and knows people be watching.

What chip does he have?? He's had about as privledged of a coaching career to date as anyone.

To prove himself. He was a Co-OC with Tony Elliot at Clemson and had a coach with a big personality in Dabo. This is his chance to prove he was a larger part of their success than some of people think. He seems like a sharp guy and very competitive and is probably aware of people thinking he was just along for the ride at Clemson.
