He had an offer from LSU? Also Mississippi State, South Carolina, Louisville and Florida State? Commitable offers? If so, he has to be our top committed prospect at this point, right?

According to Rivals and 247 it does not appear to be the case.

At least on the 247 site, when you display the "complete team list", it shows that he did have offers from those schools.  I'm not sure how those are confirmed, outside of the word from an athlete's Twitter account or an interview from these sites.

That's kind of the rub with all the offer lists. They can only be coming from one side of the equation, the players/hs coaches and have to assume that they're all on the up and up ...

Someone noted Spencer was out of the running...he is a bigger back as well...I hope the staff is still pursuing him...

I like all of our small running backs. I just think  we need at minimum a fullback or something.

Have you seen Spencer's film?  Something has to be up with his grades...he has game breaking speed and he is a larger back then what we have on our roster...I would take him in a heart beat...and we need few larger backs in the rotation...
