Starting QB will probably not be determined until conference play starts

Yeah, it doesn't sound like much of a positive to me. Sounds like no one has stepped up at the moment.   Then again, with all the down time he may be treating the first two games like preseason games whether we like it as fans or not.

I was more disappointed in nobody stepping up however your point about preseason has merit so we shall see.

I think a lot of it is coach speak. Imagine if he declared a starter while in “The Dome.” Really,  the bubble is kinda like The Dome. Can’t have despair in the bubble.

I am actually ok with this, especially since there was no Spring Season.  Let us not forget that we are entering a rebuilding year.  One of the goals for this season should be to identify a QB that will lead the team into 2021 and beyond. This team is not making the playoffs, so let them battle it out and give them all snaps vs. Citadel, Notre Dame and FAU.  May the best QB win.

I agree with the coach speak.   If truly has no idea who the starting QB should be, then we are in trouble.

Who knows. Maybe we get a Flowers 2015 Syracuse breakout moment late making the day less embarrassing. 42-21.

I'm ok with it some players look good in camp.  Hopefully Scott has it  figured out by second game who is best to lead offense.
