This the kind of thinking developed when you go to the Big Dance several years in a row by winning a crap hoops conference ...

Our current facilities actually played a part.

Well...I look at it this way.  Each individual can feel how they want about this game.  But for those I know from USF and UCF who will be attending the game next year...we look forward to it and hope it continues.

Being so close...I'll be able to attend both games each season with no problems.

Knight fans...you love bringing up USF's attendance, and seem to know a lot about our numbers for each game.  How has your attendance been this year?  Going up each game and win?

UCF's announced home attendance for 2005 is as follows.

22,127 Marshall

20,652 Memphis

15,009 Tulane

UCF's average announced home attendance is 19,263 per game.

All numbers recorded from gamebox attendance figures from the St. Pete Times and yahoo.com.

To be fair, you probably need to asterisk the Tulane game since it was moved at last minute to Friday ..... the drop from the Marshall game is kind of puzzling though.

This week is Homecoming...and should obviously be better then our last home game that was moved to Friday Night and had to deal with all the storms.

UCF's overall attendance has been pathetic...but it just shows how bad and how low UCF's image had fallen in the community.

Winning again, plus the new Stadium in 2007 will lead to more exposure and re-newed interest...but one thing I would suggest: Never, Ever lose 17 straight games.

Nice job side stepping the question.  Do you have any numbers or are they so pathetic even you are embarressed to say?

Attendance is an issue...for sure.  Tulane took a hit by being moved...but we'd probably only have aroudn 23-25K, though if played.

Hopefully this week will change.  The biggest problem that UCF faces is little exposure in Orlando anymore.  Sun Sports doesn't air away games and the only way to see 'em is online or by buying the CSTV package.  Die-hards do this...but the casual fan is wondering where we are??

It'll take time to get UCF fans back on the wagon fully.  If USF went 0-11...I couldn't imagine what Ray Jay would look like.

Artist's rendition of what RayJ would like having gone 0-11.

Reference: last years Pitt & Memphis games.
