All this talk about CJL has me wondering about the play itself.  I know all the aftermath (broad strokes at least) but I don't recall the play or at least the "missed block" or whatever it was.

I want to say it was a missed block on a kick return in the first half of the UL game in 09 no? Can't imagine it will be on a highlight but it if someone has the recording it may be possible to see. It's also very possible that the missed block what out of the shot all together.

Yea is was a missed block for sure.  I was just wildly curious for some reason.

Yeah it was a kick return and I cannot imagine there is any film of it. We talked about it ad nauseam back in 2009/2010. I never once saw a video of the play and I am sure we would have looked at it if we had access to it.

If it was on a kickoff in the first half Louisville had kickoffs at 45:26 of the video (10:10 of 2nd qtr)) 56:56 (6:28 2nd qtr) and 102:53 (4:47 2nd qtr).

Weird, 2 penalties backed us up to inside the 10 on the second one but neither were one was on Joel (he is #25 right?).

In fact he is nowhere to be seen if that is his number and the guys making the tackles were not just running free.
