I felt this team could contend for a national title at the beginning of the year, and nothing has changed since then. They really dropped two games that they shouldn't have (Memphis and UCF - they are better than both of those squads) but that is the nature of soccer. If they had won those two games they are likely a #2 or #3 seed in the NCAAT. Because their seeding was so off, they embarassed both Florida and Washington and now are staring down the barrel of a rematch from last year with the defending national champs FSU. Keep in mind that we were winning that game 1-0 in the 63rd minute before the wheels came off. CDSB has this team laser focused and those two conference losses might have actually helped them overall. They were always going to be in FSU's region, so it was just a matter of if they faced them in the Sweet 16 or Round of 8. Keep it going ladies!
