Now the students are really whinning. First they want an on campus stadium, now they want it outside their dorm room.

You can walk through campus come out by the gardens and you are walking behind Staples and Kash and Karry, no hood. As for the "its 2 miles" guess what, a lot of college campuses are spread out over larger areas and their students walk and tailgate.

Of course this isnt gonna happen but it shows how whiny the students can be.

i know it's hard to appreciate RJS for some of you now, but trust me, that place is a GEM!! (sans the bucs crap).  The idea of having EVERYTHING right there is amazing, I probably covered 3-5 miles walking between tailgates/bars/etc just saturday.  The amenities are amazing compared to a trough for a bathroom (literally).  And seat back AND arm rest for everyone??  

just appreciate RJS, who cares where it is located

Way back in 99 when I was at USF, I would ride my bike all around that area. I lived in an apt over in that direction. I never felt that frightend of any of the areas right around USF. Nebraska ave (which really is suitcase city ) yes I would not go that far. Sounds like a buch of sillness to me. Just go ahead and build a wall around USF like a castle or whatever!!!! Give me a break! I do however think the mall should be replaced by a stadium. Anything BULLS is better than something that is not.
