  1. As part of the Florida Disaster Recovery Plan the strip club workers will be working their day time and retirement jobs at the Waffle House locations. However, they will be permitted to work the pole between orders and do table dances.
  2. I like the idea. Perhaps have other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that get rewarded as well. $1 or $5 for every athlete who graduates.
  3. A Gumby's Greaser.....lol. Gladstone's was the shiznit of chicken. I used to pick up cold drums from them for $.25 when I worked downtown. For like $3 I would have a feast for lunch the next day.
  4. Were you the guys that when you moved, you brought back like 20 glass pitchers that you had bought beer in and kept?
  5. My roommate worked at the Greenery (Trish) for a few years. That place was awesome for food/beer. $4.25 for the 8 inch sub and chili. The pool table always had action as well. Apart from that, it was a swordfish fight most nights. But I could stumble home down 32nd street(Bavarian Village). I worked at Cuda Bay downtown from the SuperBowl opening and for about a year or so after that. Yucatan Liquor stand was fun down off of Lois (?). I also remember a place for reggae on Sundays out on the causeway. Good times.
  6. At least Ed would be entertaining. "Go Bulls" would probably sound like "Geaux Bawls" and honestly, who wouldn't love that....
  7. I thought we were playing BYE today. I cannot find a kickoff time.
  8. It is a great question. I am at another unnamed Florida University and our president is also leaving. They made it sound like he is getting promoted to another position but it is BS. The faculty hated the guy, the students hated the guy. He came and told our faculty that if we failed ANY students we were bad professors. (He wanted to jump in the five year graduation rate). He threw about 4-5 professors out who were voted "in" for tenure. They had department support, chair support, dean support, and university wide faculty support and he just threw the contract out and turned them down. He also snooped on faculty email (because he could he said). I wonder what the true story is with USF's president leaving.
  9. First let me say I like technology. I teach technology. However.... May you rot in HELL for going electronic............ May every parking entrance be so backed up that no traffic moves through Tampa. May every ticket gate be so backed up with old people trying to figure out there phones that no one gets in to see this debacle. May every club level access entry point be so backed up that you end up letting everyone in. Those poor gate agents. I feel for them. The people who should suffer won't. I just spent 1 hour trying to talk my parents through this debacle. They don't get Google/GPay/Ticketmaster. They don't habla apps. I won't be there with them when they try to access the parking. I wont be there with them when they try to access the stadium. I won't be able to help them when one wants to go the club level and the other one has the phone already in the club level. This will be a cluster. You have just alienated a good portion of dedicated older alumni. Sure. Blame it on Covid. But when the gates back up. When the club level entrances back up, people will NOT be socially distanced. You were able to save the cost of printing and mailing the tickets. But at what cost to your fan base??? What cost to the game day experience?
  10. Was heading south on 49 today and someone in a white car must have seen my Bulls plate. They threw up the horns at a traffic light! Very cool! Go Bulls!
  11. Good Customer Service was giving us tickets when we renewed our season tickets. Better Customer Service would have been a note on the manage my tickets screen explaining that these tickets are third party issued and cannot be printed. By not writing that on the webpage, that forced a phone call. During that phone call it was not explained to me that these were third party tickets. They just said "Your tickets will be at will call". Perhaps noting that these tickets would be available via will call would have helped the situation a bit. As it was, I made a late night trip to my post office mail box to check for the tickets. Then got up early to make the long drive to the game with no tickets in hand. Also, I get that going to a Will Call booth is not that big of a deal. But the tickets "Showed Up" in the manage my tickets section like they were USF issued tickets. I received no email, no explanation, nothing. There was even a print button but it was grayed out. Also, the Will Call booth to me is the equivalent of sending someone a fax in this day and age. Sure a fax machine works just fine but we have the technology to send an email with an attachment. We also have the technology to send a ticket electronically. I use electronic tickets all the time. If a one time concert can issue electronic tickets, so can a bowl game. This is 2018.
  12. Renew season tickets, get two free tickets to the bowl game.Out of town, no tickets in the mail. I have to leave for the game. Log in to print tickets, no big deal. We have had this printing technology for years. Unable to print tickets. Told tickets available at Will Call. This team AND the services provided are going backwards year after year. Not sure I will leave my house to go watch this crap show in Tampa. I can watch from my house just fine.
  13. I have (or will have when they are mailed) four extra football season tickets to sell. Section 209 Row E Seats 8 - 11. These tickets have club access and great parking. Just looking to get out of them what I put in them. If anyone is interested, let me know via PM.
  14. Don't forget, the entire "donation" is not tax deductible. It use to be designated at 80% of what was paid was allowable. The 20% was not as that was estimated as the benefit received by getting better tickets. Who knows how the IRS will rule if the seat benefit is tied directly to the actual seat. Calling something a "donation" doesn't make it a donation to the IRS. So, even with the IRS 80% deductible and 20% not, a corporation would be able to include the 20% with their business deductions, where I as an individual am not able to do anything with the 20%.
  15. Heck with all the SPAM emails I get from USF, I might accidentally delete the renewal email by accident.
  16. What's your return policy? Honestly if I took money from them for those tickets I'd probably offer it back... but in general I just give them away so all they get is an apology. I wanted to be there today and hopefully can make the next home game. New child has made it a bit more difficult to schedule. Funny, I had two people cancel on me today at the last minute. I walked towards the ticket area to try to sell them and overheard a few Bulls fans saying his wife had lost their tickets I just gave them the two extras. Hard to sell this product....
  17. So are the girls supposed to sleep with a pistol under their pillow? Maybe keep a gun stashed near their va-jay-jay? You sound like George Zimmerman. Shoot first, don't ask any questions. It's hard to ask questions when someone is on top of you punching you. I am sure it would be hard for these women to ask questions while this guy was assaulting them as well. The most they probably got out was "Why". Shoot. Then shoot again. It is better to be judged by 6 then carried by 6.
  18. Not true. I stayed to the end, I always do. You cannot see them from lot 6. I heard them go off from my car.
  19. Wow. If you announce postgame fireworks, you have to shoot them off, no matter how the game ends. What amazes me is that we didn't know about them. If USF spent money on something like that, it doesn't help sell tickets or increase fan enjoyment if fans miss the show because they didn't know it was coming. I just have to assume that if USF had a postgame firework show we would have heard a PA like this: "Fans, be sure to stick around immediately following tonight's game for a post game firework display." At least 10 times, all through the game. I hope there is more to this. Actually the announcement the last two years was to "stay in your seats after the game" for the post game fireworks. Then when we stayed in our seats we could not see the fireworks. That was a waste last night. I didn't see them until I was driving away.
  20. Fail by the team. I was in he stands till the very end waiting for someone on the team to show me something. With nothing else do my mind wander....
  21. And can someone spoof the song "Turn the beat around" to "Turn the bus around"?
  22. Of course when the band was playing Radioactive the words in my head sounded out: Welcome to my bad dream, this is a bad dream, step inside my bad dream, this is my bad dream.
