but if you are watching the Hard Knocks show featuring the Raiders and more spefically Antonio Brown (it's a whole thing with him-- head case) --- those are modern helmets

 

on a similar subject--- I think the last time the Bucs tried to wear throwback uniforms, they were told they could not use the older helmets they had with the old Bucco Bruce-- and they were so cheap they decided to wear current helmets/uniforms instead.  I think that is how it went at least.
