One bright spot is that once UConn leaves the conference, every ones football Strength of schedule raises.

Yes but in the end it is FB for us and MBB a distant second.  If we can’t make football work than we are sunk in all sports.  I don’t blame UCONN for leaving we just don’t have the same opportunity anyways  so the point is moot.

I missed it too, adding UMASS would be a mistake, get Army in FB and don’t bother replacing them for hoops.

We should have chose the side that had brand equity and teams people have heard of instead of creating a vanity project of making our own conference out of misfit toys on the hopes we could make something anyone could care about.

I am not sure we really ever had the opportunity to join the BE anyways even if we wanted too.
