Collins dropped 19 in the win over the Blue Demons in the title game. Collins scored 20 in one of the Bulls’ bigger wins of the season over Memphis in early February. The 6-3 guard shot 40 percent and averaged 15 a game.

This does bring up an interesting question. Who has the better shot next year? I still lean toward FB.

Why not just throw in the rest as well:

Mens and Womens Soccer

Softball

Volleyball

Women's Basketball (well, only if UCONN's program folds)

Baseball (well no definitely not Baseball).

On a serious note, Football and Basketball have at least a shot next year for reals - if all the chips fall our way (but that's still asking a whole lot)!!

I disagree and think the basketball team has a better chance. I say this primarily because of Bryan Gregory and the number of players we have returning. The basketball team can be as strong as any in the conference talent-wise, and coaching-wise, next season. I think that is less likely the case for the football team.

Wouldn't put my money on either to happen, though...

The big problem wth basketball is not our team but others. Memphis had a top five recruiting score and Uconn is not far behind.

How far back do we go to find the same sentiments about a MBB being a legit contender to win a conference? One of Seth's underachieving teams, maybe ...
