Q: How many players did we have when the program hit bottom? My blurry recollection was something like 3.

I think your blurry recollection is crystal clear. Manderson, DaSilva and Martin were the only scholarship holdovers from the COA era ...

Inside, we are going to be strong with Yetna and Durr. Though, they are still so raw. I like Kiir; he's improving. Let's see how he does next season.

Rideau is the leader, but when he's not healthy we are back to no leadership.

Brown needs a jumper. Seems like all he does is go for the 3-pt shot. And Collins is solid but he goes cold a lot.

Sooo... We run at people and get to the line. Lots of bodies. I guess that works most of the time. But when teams shoot the lights out, we are in trouble, like tonight.

Fun team. We need more firepower!

Says my echo from oh so many seasons.   Still, I like what I saw this year.   Already renewed for next season (my 48th as a fan, BTW).

If we can just be average at making free throws we need far less improvement when it comes to firepower.

Not for me.  Depends on the schedule. We went 8-10 in conference. I wouldn’t expect us to improve that by more than four games max.  We’re good, but I don’t see a transformation to great, yet.

You are probably right.

The caveat is we are bringing some new talented players into the mix, how much they blend in along with how much of a leap the current players make from this year to next will make a difference from good to semi-great....imho.

12-6 in conference would be huge
