And still had the opportunity to win until the last 5 minutes or so. Then, I agree, they didn't handle the pressure very well.

"That point in the third quarter we could've gotten knocked out and it didn't happen, Fernandez said. We fought back."

We agree on that.

Talked to Ricky the Bull about this during the game.  UConn is very good this year but not up to their normal standards.  They are beatable.

If UCONN doesn't improve over the next few weeks they will not be winning the National Title.

Been a couple of years since they have. This team is not the dominant team of yesteryear. Really good, but really vulnerable.

I understand that, but the consensus from their fan base was that they were going to go all the way this season. Loaded with senior talent, this was going to be their year. From their perspective next year will be a struggle and could be the first time they drop an AAC game.

They have 2 seniors according to the roster last night.  Katie Lou Who and #24.

I've been watching them over the season and agree they more than likely won't win it this year.

50% chance we get another shot at them on Sunday.

I should have said that their two main contributors are seniors. As we saw last night, they are nowhere near the same team without Katie on the court. The drop-off from Samuelson and Collier to the rest of the team (with the exception of Dangerfield) is pretty substantial.

I want to time warp to a place where both of these teams played at 100% health.

I will always believe we could have taken them this season.

Last night especially.  They were vulnerable and a full healthy Bulls roster most likely would have taken it (I think we all agree on that)......but injuries are part of the game, and I guess the Indian Burial ground curse theory lives on!
