Not a Bolts fan but this is just unbelievable. Lose the series? Sure it could happen...but to potentially get swept away? So glad I don’t bet on nhl games.

Look on the bright side, if somehow someway, they find a way to come back and win 4 games in a row.......it would be one of the biggest comeback stories in Tampa Bay history......I'm certainly not counting on it.

Well it’s happened 4 times in nhl history. Of course 75% of the time the winning team goes ahead and sweeps.

Despite the extension I don't see how they can keep Cooper after this. Torts has taken him to school and made our team look inept, soft, weak and heartless.

Now the Wings once won the President's Trophy and lost in the first round to 8th place Edmonton in the first round so it happens. I don't believe that was a sweep though.

We've had 2 good periods out of 9. Now we have to have 12 consecutive good periods.

It has happened 4 times since 2002...but never has there been a sweep. Another first for Tampa Bay pro sports (right up there with that twenty something losing streak of the Bucs).

That's why looooong time TB fans aren't going suicidal over this ...... I'm thinking this may be the Sports gods retribution to Vinik for partnering with USF. Hopefully this fulfills that retribution.

I think that Game 1 debacle where the Bolts were up 3-0 and then gave it away in the 3rd period has carried over for both teams.  The Bolts seem a little dazed and confused, while the Jackets gained a ton of confidence from that 1st game.

As far as Coop, he is not going anywhere.  They just gave him a big extension, and he did win the most games this year.

Regarding any chance of a comeback in this Series, I've resigned to the fact that its not going to happen.  However, win tomorrow night and anything is possible.  You can't win 4 games at once, so just have to play great tomorrow and take it from there.
