How many fans are you bringing to the game? Is FAMU going to out represent you. You toll the tune of support, now it's put up or shut up! Now, again, how many are coming to the party?    Reaper

FAMU fan base, as well as ours,  is much stronget than ucf's.  They'll probably bring 3000 as opposed to FAMU's 10000.

FAMU's turn out is going to be insane.

We'll wait until Orlando 06 to compare UCF to USF...but its safe to say that FAMU will outdraw both schools.

FWIW I'm coming in a student/alumni group of 100.

I htink you're going to get a good interested bystander walk up crowd for the FAMU game.  But do I think FAMU is gonna come out in force personally?  I don't know.

You'll be pleasantly surprised by teh boost you'll get from UCF attendance for our match.  I can guarantee you that it will be larger than any other walk up/ visiting crowd outside of FAMU.  Also, our attendance help will be consistent year after year, whereas, the FAMU attendance boost is going to be a one shot deal.  The novelty will wear off after this single game.

I don't agree with that.  If FAMU plays in Tampa (or Orlando) 10 years in a row - people will come out each year.

If you need proof - go find the attendance from the last 10 Florida Classics in the Citrus Bowl.

While they are IAA, I'd rather have FAMU on my home schedule than a team like Louisana Lafayette.  It has nothing to do with good football.  You can't say that Paul McCartney is a great football coach because he's going to draw as much as the UCF-USF game that night.

Yes, FAMU has a great following, its just sad that those same fans don't attend their home games.    Just over 13,000 per game.

Guest Bill Smith

The number of UCF fans at Raymond James Stadium may be understated.  Here's an example why that may be the case.

I contacted the UCF ticket office about tickets for the game and found the seat selection limited.  Based on my calculations and the information they provided, UCF has a maximum of 4,000-7,000 seats available through them.  Many of the seats have blocks as small as 2 to 4.  My group which includes both UCF and USF fans, may be short of 50.  In order to accomodate 50 combined UCF and USF fans and try to keep the group sitting together, I am better off buying tickets through USF for the group.  Through them I can get three rows of 17 seats each sitting next to one another.  I intend on buying the tickets in the next couple of days.

In the end, it won't help in the count of tickets sold to UCF fans but it will aloow for the best football viewing experience.

Why is it such a secret to announce ticket sales ?
