Future Schedules

Looking at future schedules and noticed we now have 1 open date in each of 2019, 2020 and 2021 while 2022 has all 12 games scheduled.  Any word on what we might be working on or will this just be a last minute FCS team added to each year?

Central Michigan led to a couple of those openings.

The AD should have known not to trust any institution that is "Central"

You're right BB, we need 2 games in 2021 and they both need to be home or we're looking at a 5 home game season. Ouch.

I feel like with their independent status, Liberty or NM State might fall somewhere on the future schedules.  LA Tech would be decent G5 to go against Skip.

Also, would anyone take a payday to play @ Notre Dame again?  They look to need home dates in 24 and maybe 25.

Notre Dame needs a 2021 game.  Think we could coax them to RayJay or even the Citrus Bowl if we give them half of the tickets to distribute?  Just sayin'

Heck no, dont take it to Orlando.  Even if it means playing ND, dont need to go to C's backyard.

Tampa should be good enough, but dont give them half the tickets.  Maybe some kind of cut of money.

Well it is Notre Dame.  The only way they would play in our stadium is if it's a crazy reverse payday like we pay them $2 million.  Not really crazy as we would sell out 55,000 tickets (not counting students and other athletic comps) at an average of $80 per = $4.4 million gross take.  One can dream.

Based on schedules i've found, here are some P5 teams i dont think we've played yet and if available what years:

B12 - Baylor in 2021 or 24, KState in 2023, Oklahoma State in 23, TCU any year starting in 2020

B10 - Nebraska in 23, Northwestern in 20, 21, 23, Purdue in 21 or 23, Michigan in 21 or 23
