I don't have anything against Florida. That streak has been on shakey ground for a while.

but losing to Samford is just shocking to me.

I have been confused by this all season. Historically we have always cheered against FSU and UF but this season we are supposed to cheer for everyone to get a medal and scores not to be kept. Cheering against other teams is only second to cheering for your team in fandom and if you aren’t a twelve your old girl and you are worried about looking like a hater by cheering against something not in your self interest you are dumb.

The best thing that happened to USF was that Taggart bolted for Oregon.  This is why I was so happy we got Strong.

I'm not sure why we would automatically cheer against FSU or UF or UM (are we supposed to be cheering against UM, haven't seen them mentioned?  But people probably are responding more because it comes across as cheering against Willie T and some may still appreciate what he did to help get the program over the Skippy years.  It also seems a little obsessive, but it is also fun to troll you and others a little .... 😉 😃

I have always rooted against FSU and thug U. I wouldn't root for fsu if my dad coached there
