I don't know why he took Oliver out of the game after 3 straight TD drives, but that was a game changer for us. We looked exhausted and defenseless against the freshman, but when they back to Marshall, they fell flat. Barnett won that game, but we were behind the eight when Oliver was in there.

True, after Oliver's third TD I went and took a nap. I was pleasantly surprised when I woke up

Also been said in another thread, Oliver is not known for passing, so he put the veteran Marshall back in because we forced them to throw. Don't think Oliver was hurt but could be wrong.

That's what I figured, but they had a third the 9, then they could have just brought him back in afterwards. I'm really happy he didn't.

Me too, but the risk/reward was low on bringing him in even for the one play--they had no timeouts left.
